Kerjasama UII dengan Perguruan Tinggi di Pakistan
Jajaran pimpinan Fakultas Psikologi dan Ilmu Sosial Budaya (FPSB) Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) melakukan kunjungan kerja ke Lahore, Pakistan, pada 17-21 November 2024. Kunjungan ini merupakan bagian dari tindak lanjut kerja sama antara Jurusan Psikologi UII dengan School of Professional Psychology (SPP) di University of Management and Technology (UMT) serta Riphah Institute of Clinical & Professional Psychology (RICPP).
Delegasi UII yang hadir dalam kunjungan tersebut meliputi Dr.phil. Qurotul Uyun (Dekan FPSB), Hazhira Qudsyi, S.Psi., M.A. (Ketua Program Studi Psikologi Program Sarjana), Annisa Miranty Nurendra, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psikolog (Sekretaris Jurusan Psikologi), Thobagus M Nu’man, S.Psi., M.A., Psikolog (Sekretaris Program Studi Psikologi Program Sarjana), dan Nur Widiasmara, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psikolog (Koordinator Bidang Pendidikan Program Studi Pendidikan Profesi Psikologi).
Kunjungan delegasi UII diawali dengan serangkaian kegiatan di SPP UMT, mulai dari konferensi hingga diskusi kerja sama. Pada 19 November 2024, penandatanganan perjanjian kerja sama dilakukan antara UII dan UMT. Penandatanganan dilakukan oleh Rektor UMT Dr. Asif Raza, dan Dr.phil. Qurotul Uyun.
Dalam pertemuan tersebut, kedua belah pihak membahas peluang kerja sama, di antaranya pertukaran mahasiswa (student exchange), pertukaran dosen (faculty member exchange), kolaborasi penelitian, serta peluang menyelenggarakan kuliah tamu bersama.
“Kolaborasi ini menjadi tonggak penting untuk mempererat hubungan antara institusi pendidikan di Indonesia dan Pakistan, khususnya di bidang psikologi,” ujar Dr. Asif Raza.
Pada 21 November 2024, delegasi UII melanjutkan kunjungan ke kampus Riphah Institute of Clinical & Professional Psychology (RICPP). Kehadiran rombongan disambut langsung oleh Head of Department RICPP, Dr. Arooj Arshad beserta jajarannya.
Pada pertemuan ini dilanjutkan dengan penandatanganan perjanjian kerja sama. Dalam penandatanganan tersebut, RICPP diwakili oleh Dr. Arooj Arshad, sedangkan UII diwakili oleh Dr.phil. Qurotul Uyun.
Selanjutnya, dilakukan diskusi intensif terkait peluang kolaborasi di berbagai bidang, termasuk student exchange, faculty member exchange, penyelenggaraan case conference, dan kuliah tamu bersama. Selain itu, juga dibahas pula strategi untuk menarik mahasiswa internasional ke kedua institusi, baik untuk program Master maupun Doktor (PhD).
“Diskusi berlangsung hangat dan produktif. Kami memiliki visi yang sama untuk memperkuat kerja sama akademik di tingkat internasional,” ungkap Dr. Arooj Arshad.
Salah satu pembahasan yang menjadi fokus untama dalam diskusi adalah persiapan program pertukaran mahasiswa antara UII, UMT, dan RICPP. Diskusi mengenai kurikulum telah dilakukan sebelumnya, sehingga implementasi program diharapkan dapat dimulai pada semester genap mendatang.
Dalam sesi diskusi, masing-masing pihak juga menyampaikan profil institusinya. UII diwakili oleh Annisa Miranty Nurendra, yang memaparkan profil Jurusan Psikologi, serta Hazhira Qudsyi, menjelaskan Prodi Psikologi Program Sarjana.
Kunjungan ini menjadi langkah strategis bagi UII dalam memperkuat jejaring kerja sama internasional. Selain memperluas kolaborasi akademik, kegiatan ini juga membuka peluang bagi pengembangan riset bersama dan pertukaran budaya antara Indonesia dan Pakistan.
“Dengan semangat kolaborasi ini, kami berharap kerja sama yang telah dibangun dapat memberikan manfaat nyata bagi pengembangan pendidikan di kedua belah pihak,” ujar Dr.phil. Qurotul Uyun.
Kerja sama ini diharapkan dapat menjadi katalisator bagi pengembangan akademik dan penguatan jejaring internasional Jurusan Psikologi UII, serta memberikan dampak positif bagi mahasiswa, dosen, dan institusi secara keseluruhan. (Humas)
